Once complete, we’ll help you decide which of our APVMA approved treatments will best suit your needs and eliminate the ants. Finally, we’ll advise on how to prevent them from returning.

TREATMENT OPTIONS – BEES

Bee Keeper

If the beehive is easily accessible, our recommendation is to have it removed.

DUST

Is perfect for getting into the areas where the bees are hiding. If the hive is inaccessible, for example in a wall cavity, this approach is most effective.

TREATMENT OPTIONS – WASPS

Residual or Aerosol Spray

Applied as either a fine mist or a form of aerosol, it works by eliminating the wasps as they are sprayed. We’ll target the nest location, once treated the nest is knocked down and removed.

WAYS TO PROTECT YOUR HOME – BEES

• block potential hive locations such as gaps around window and door frames;
• store food in containers;
• pack away sweet food as soon as you’re finished;
• secure rubbish bins;
• cover bodies of water, such as your pool, when not in use;
• repair leaky pipes or other puddle sources.

WAYS TO PROTECT YOUR HOME – WASPS

• check your home in early spring for nests. Search in lofts, garages, sheds, cavity walls and under eaves;
• secure rubbish bins and store them away from windows and doors;
• keep windows and doors shut;
