TREATMENT OPTIONS

Your customised termite treatment plan is created based on the results of our inspection and your requirements, it is designed to eliminate the termites and prevent future outbreaks. Types of treatments will include one, or a combination of: bait stations, chemical spray – for easily accessed areas, or insecticidal foam – injected into hard-to-reach areas.

WAYS TO PROTECT YOUR HOME

Termites thrive in cool, damp, dark environments so:

• avoid excessive watering of plants adjacent to your home;
• ensure ground water drainage flows away from your home;
• if your subfloor is moist, installing a fan may be beneficial;
• ensure roof guttering and downpipes are not leaking and are correctly discharging to stormwater drains;
• ensure external taps are not dripping and have good drainage;
• remove plants and storage from the perimeter of your home;
• remove wood-to-ground contact;
• remove dead trees, firewood and other dead wood.
